CED maintains two reference and information centres, in Mumbai and Bangalore. Virtually of course we are here at  WWW.DOCCENTRE.NET.

The centre in Mumbai, which is also the registered office, houses a good collection of clippings - post 80s for most topics, and three decade old on critical issues. The archives of the clippings are house in a three storied stacker at Bangalore.

Books, reports, and journals are distributed between these two centres. However the cataloge system is such that free exchange and movement is possible between the two centres.

At Mumbai we have a basic reading space, and a facility to host a meeting of twelve comfortably around a table.. But we have had upto fifty people watching a film or attending a lecture.

In Bangalore, we have a bigger place where we can accommodate around 30 people comfortably.  We do have the basic infrastructure and the AV equipment to hold films shows,talks and other meetings.

How to reach CED Bangalore:

To reach CED Bangalore, get to the Airport Road and come up to Domlur.

 

• If you are coming from MG Road / Victoria Road come to Domlur on Airport Road, you will come to Domlur Junction. Haiku Honda is on your right just at this junction. AFTER this junction, take the 2nd left turn (there is no entry into the direct road to CED at the Domlur Bus Depot Junction). Then again take the 2nd left turn.  (for those who know Domlur Bus Depot, it is now behind you).

• If you are coming from the direction of the Airport, there is no right turn at the Domlur Bus Depot Junction. Go to the next junction and make a Uturn. Immediately after the U turn, take the 2nd left turn.Then again take the 2nd left turn. (for those who know Domlur Bus Depot, it is now behind you).

• Now keep going straight past BDA Complex,  Sri Raghavendra Temple, Sagar Super Market. Follow the road, till you reach a dead end. The road turns to the left. There is a tiny traffic island with a flagpole. Just beyond this island, the road reaches a small dead-end, with the main road turning to the right along a naala (storm water drain).
  

• CED is a largish two-story red brick structure with green windows on the right side of the small dead-end.
